This work is an attempt of making a general exposition of Buddhism in his historical and philosophical character. The sublimation of the information gathered through extensive research, confirm as a solid basis for a comparison. The Buddhism and the Christianity seen as religious systems, compared in a parallel, lead to the same conclusion: the ethical moments and the different ways of aspiring towards the “universal good” are the ones that make each religion original.
