Abstract

Anemia is a condition where circulating mass of blood does not meet the needs of the tissues for oxygen. Because anemias from year to year is gaining momentum, I decided to show the most common anemia occurring in Stip in the period 2004-2009, comprising people of different age. According to statistics obtained from this study, we can say that anemia are quite common in this region. The results conclude that the number of women’s who have anemia is far greater than the number of man's who have anemia.
Most of men and women suffering from secondary anemia, with little difference that the number of women is increasing, while number of hypochromic anemia at women's is far greater than the number of men's. Megaloblastic anemia is rare in compression with both kinds of anemia described above, where by the number of infected women is greater than the number of infected men. Рodeficiency anemia is very rare in the period we described, we have one diseased female and three male patients. According to the results we can conclude that anemias are represented in the eastern region, but that quite a number of anemia decreases from 1995-2001, this due to the advancement of medicine and finding appropriate remedies for each disease.
