Abstract
Participation in the work of this project is being applied directly in the work of the Institute of Languages which was founded this year by the University and the Faculty of Philology. One of the activities of the Institute will be teaching Macedonian language for foreigners. It is in this field exactly that experience and knowledge acquired in the work on this project are used. My colleague Marija Leontik and I (Violeta Nikolovska) are members of the team working on the development of new and upgraded programs for teaching Macedonian as a foreign language. We are currently working on the program for A1 level because our students have no knowledge of the language; it is quite a large group of students from Turkey. The challenge is that Turkish language is typologically different from Macedonian language. Certainly this will enrich our experience in teaching Macedonian as a foreign language. These are our new programs. They are drafts which we made together with colleagues from the University of Bitola and our colleague Slavica Veleva (from the University "SS Cyril and Methodius") for levels A, B, and C.
Our program is slightly adapted (3 +3) to our current circumstances (we have only three months to include our students in studing).
