Abstract

Geological investigation proved that the Mirata is a small kaolin clay deposit with estimated reserves of A+B+C, category of some 234 732 tonnes. The clay occurs as small layers or lensis that are 70 to 120 meter long and from 1,1 to 17 meters wide. Labarotory examinations showed that these are kaolin elays, which with hydrocyclone enrichment can be used in the manufacture of refractory materials, pottery as well as filling material.
