Abstract
The existence of green areas has got an essential meaning for the live guality in every inhabited place.The analysis of urban and ecological issues of the geen system in Skopje gave the basic elements for accomplshing the extract for the condition of the green areas in the city. These analysis have also contributed for wording the prognosis , regarding of its future development.
In the analysing process has been made a chronological view of the urban planning of Skopje, from the begining of XX century until now.Along with that , the evolution of planning the green system is also analysing , which is one of the basic structural elements of the city.
