Abstract

The conducted geochemical researches of the Ilovica deposit have confirmed the presence of Cu–Au–Mo mineralization, where it has been established that the greatest potential occurs between the Ilovica River (Jazga) and west of the Anovi–Chukar ridge. In this area, a quartz, quartz–iron-oxide, and quartz–magnetite with gold have been identified, which at greater depth transitions into a quartz–magnetite–sulfide, while volcanic breccia appears at the highest elevations. The top of the system is represented by a silica–alunite alteration zone (silica–alunite lithocap) and intense silicification. For a more complete overview of the results from the conducted research, this paper briefly presents the results of lithogeochemical, metallometric, and stream-sediment analyses separately.
