Abstract
This book presents a comprehensive analysis of modern military drone systems, focusing on their architecture, operational integration, communication frameworks, and strategic applications in contemporary security and defense environments. The book examines the evolution of unmanned aerial systems from remotely operated platforms to intelligent and semi-autonomous systems capable of supporting reconnaissance, surveillance, logistics, communication, targeting, and coordinated operational missions. Special attention is dedicated to artificial intelligence, secure communication protocols, swarm coordination, electronic warfare resilience, counter-drone systems, and the integration of drones with 5G and future 6G communication networks. The book further explores operational deployment concepts, cybersecurity challenges, fault-tolerant system architectures, and future trends in autonomous aerial technologies. Combining theoretical foundations with practical operational perspectives, this work provides researchers, engineers, military professionals, and students with a structured and forward-looking overview of next-generation drone systems and their growing role in modern military.
