Abstract

This foundational session is designed to introduce law students to the core concepts and terminology necessary to understand AI as a regulatory object. It will provide a functional overview of what AI is, its basic technical institutes, and how its operational aspects create novel legal challenges. The lecture will demystify key terms and build a shared understanding of AI's capabilities and limitations, establishing a solid base for students to critically engage with the legal and policy questions that arise at the intersection of law and technology.
