Abstract
The population in rural areas in last 30-40 years in Republic of Macedonia is decreasing process and cause changes in demographic image in our state. To stop of this disadvantage, rural population needs the right stimulus and opportunity for improving local facilities. One of this facilities is construction of local roads, improving public transport and transport services. Some initiatives will need support by the transport policy in Government level and especially in local authority. Local authorities have an important role in devising transport strategies and provide wide rang of facilities in the village and reach better lifestyle.
