Abstract

Intraoral scanning has become an essential tool in everyday dental practice, offering a digital alternative to traditional impressions. This technology enables quick, accurate, and comfortable data acquisition of a patient’s oral cavity. It enhances diagnostic capabilities, treatment planning, and the fabrication of restorations such as crowns, bridges, and aligners. Intraoral scanners improve workflow efficiency, patient experience, and communication between dental professionals and laboratories. Their widespread adoption signifies a shift towards more precise, minimally invasive, and patient-friendly dental care
