Abstract
This paper focuses on the plant idioms in English language and their Romanian counterparts. We intend to observe whether the English plant idioms have their Romanian equivalents and the difference in their meaning.We try to make a parallel between the English and Romanian plant idioms and we hope that this research is needed and can be helpful in order to be accurate when translating.
