Abstract

This paper aims to put entrepreneurial behaviour, as a universal dimension of social life, in the
function of interculturalism in order to overcome differences and establish the principles of harmony in living.
Economic literature has long addressed the question of the influence of religion and culture on doing business.
Special religious, ethnic and other social groups, which have their own subculture, create their own value system that
determines the behaviour of economic subjects. What we are interested in is the reverse relationship according to
which entrepreneurship will be the one that will be able to influence overcoming the differences created by different
cultures. This paper provides recommendations with which the basic characteristics of entrepreneurship (innovation,
proactivity, risk-taking, etc.) open opportunities for overcoming the challenges of modern living and
interculturalism.
