Abstract

Intercultural communication is a type of communication that occurs between individuals from diverse
cultural backgrounds with the goal of comprehending the cultural norms, values, and beliefs of the other
party. The only way to successfully communicate with someone else is to acknowledge and respect
cultural differences. Another problem related to intercultural communication is ethnocentrism. This idea
exists among civilizations, and an ethnocentric person feels that their own culture is better than every other
culture. As a result, they frequently make false assumptions about other people and rely on stereotypes.
Nonetheless, avoiding prejudices and knowing how to cultivate intercultural awareness are the main goals
of effective intercultural training.Cultural and intercultural worldviews will be discussed and explained
within this short theoretical study.
