Abstract

The Boost DC-DC converter is a converter where the output voltage is greater than the input voltage. The Buck DC-DC converter is the opposite to boost. There the output voltage is less than or equal to the input voltage. The paper presents the relation between this type of converter and machine learning approaches. For output prediction we used decision trees techniques. First, we define the converters and give their equation. Then prediction using machine learning techniques was analyzed. At the end we compared and discussed the obtained data for both converters.
