Abstract

The lectures aim to enhance students‘understanding of the interplay between current tort law regimes and the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, emphasizing legal challenges as well as providing them with a comprehensive overview of the regulatory framework governing AI in the European Union, laying the foundation for in-depth exploration. In addition, the aim is to establish a cohesive nexus between the realms of corporate finance and civil liability arising from the deployment of artificial intelligence. In that manner, the second part of the lectures aims to educate students on the transformative impact of AI, identify opportunities for innovation, and address challenges and risks associated with AI implementation in corporate finance.
