Abstract
The presentation was delivered during an International conference on 'Coopearating for the protection of human rights in the context of migration and asylum in the EU', held at 01.12.2023 at the Univeristy of Salerno. The contribution takles the role of the European Union Agency for Asylum as regards to the cooperation that the agency has installed with the Western Balkan countries in the field of asylum and migration. In particular it exemplifies the cooperation established through the EASO roadmaps, exploring what are the purposes of the these foreign policy instruments, what activities have been foreseen and what are the outcomes and results for the Western Balkan countries and for their preformances regarding the protection of human rights of migrants.
