Abstract
This paper presents basic principles of the excavation and haulage of ore excavated from the block No.1 which is situated between levels H-XIVb and H-XVI in "Svinja reka" zone of the lead and zinc mine Sasa - Macedonia. Excavation and haulage in this mine is realized by application of the modern diesel-powered equipment e.c. Boomers and LHD machines. Maximum capacity of the ore excavation and haulage could be achieved in this way.
