Abstract

The current environmental conditions that have arisen as a result of the global health and economic crisis have caused major changes in the work of all companies. Today's global world is facing a number of challenges of a social, economic and environmental nature that affect living conditions and the lives of today's generations. Because the challenges faced by the population have a long-term character, their impact will also be felt on the future generations. Solving modern challenges consists in finding an answer to questions related to sustainable businesses and the introduction of so-called green innovations.
The majority of enterprises are facing pronounced problems in their work, caused by the increase in the prices of raw materials and energy on the supply of the global market which generates increased operating costs and reduced revenues. Therefore, a greater number of entrepreneurs are focusing on finding and putting into operation renewable energy sources and implementing “green businesses”.
