Abstract

The project is Erasmus K2 (EU funded, that provides tools and studies that will make schools sensitive to gender equality, and to transform gender equality into a corporate culture, to change the whole atmosphere of the school (teacher attitude,textbooks away from sexism, pro-equality activities, parent education, etc.) accordingly, and thus to reduce problems such as early school leaving and peer bullying caused by gender inequality. The project will ensure that school teachers and students' families receive gender equality training. The students who are determinant of Europe's future, to be treated equally regardless of gender, to demonstrate their potential without any hindrance, to equal opportunities in all fields. The project will conduct scientific research on gender equality in European schools in order to expand the European dimension of academic studies and training on gender equality. In result, it will expand international cooperation and working network on gender equality. All project partners have come together and cooperated in order to be a part of the EU gender equality policies and strategies, to contribute to the applicability and functionality of these strategies, and to meet the needs of the project partners related to the project subject. Our project activities are planned to meet the needs of the partners. Showing European youth that women and men are equal, have the freedom to follow the path they choose in life and reach their full potential, have equal opportunities to thrive, and can participate and lead our European society equally and cooperation with schools and university partners project idea outputs strengthened our project.
