Abstract

This MATHCAD File contains recurrent formula to simulate an electrochemical mechanism related to chemical inhibition of the initial electrochemically active form of water-soluble Redox Enzymes under conditions of square-wave voltammetry. Model is relevant to many water-soluble enzymes such as cytochromes, peroxidases, oxidases and many other enzymes containing metal cations are redox active sites. With the results from this mechanism, one can get access to the kinetic parameters relevant to inactivation of given redox enzymes.
