Abstract
The rate at which given chemical reaction occurs is defining parameter in understanding crucial physiological processes such as catabolism, anabolism, biochemical synthesis, enzymes activity, enzymes inhibition and drug activity in our body. In this lecture, major focus is put on conditions affecting the rate of chemical reactions in biological systems. Special attention is paid to understand the features of enzymes and the factor affecting their activity. Lecture is suitable for the students enrolled in General Medicine.
