Abstract

Beside many expectations, reality and experiences show that these computer educational systems still cannot find their real place in teaching. Teachers must believe in the great opportunities of computer technology and be encouraged to apply it. Teachers have the opportunity to choose texts and contents by themselves, and now they can use the most effective means for teaching - computers and the Internet. Using computers requires appropriate conditions and only in that case technology will be able to improve the teaching process. Computer application in teaching English as a foreign language will be useful if teachers have a clear vision of their goals and what they expect from students in order to create a positive process of teaching and learning.
