Abstract

The main aim of the paper is to estimate the real impact of the Macedonian integration toward Euro Atlantic security system by becoming the full member of the alliance on the FDI and economic growth. The existing literature the the cases of other countries is different. Actually, some countries have benefited a lot from the integration to the alliance and especially to EU, while some other have not some significant positive impact in terms of more FDI and higher economic growth. The regional and national issue is important in the foreign investors' decision where to invest, so the integration in NATO has potential positive impact for attracting new FDIs in the country.
