Abstract

Abstract: We live in a time of globalization and we are increasingly facing with risks and threats as a challenges, not only for a local but also on: national, regional, international and global level. As a global security threats which are affecting national and local level are organized crime and terrorism as a global security threats, human trafficking and human organ trafficking. The above mention threats are visible, they can't disappear, but they can be reduced to a minimum, but for a several months from now, the world has a serious health threat, which resembles as biological war, an abstract threat which couldn't be seen or felt, but still kills thousands of people per day. This new threat is corona virus COVID-19. COVID-19 is emerging as a new virus for the healthcare professionals, which are facing for the first time on a global scale. This is not an epidemic but a serious health threat - a pandemic that poses global and also local security threat which similar to terrorism doesn't choose gender, age and nationality. All of us are representing the main target.
Medical personnel, police officers, Army, teachers and professors are also not immune to COVID-19 and this conglomerate is not only for Republic of North Macedonia, but also for all countries in the world represent a main pillar for the security, which now is "on its knees ", but still continues to fight with this evil, with same intensity, but in a different way of working and living, completely different from before. As the time passes, the virus doesn't weaken, but is growing into a global threat for the world.
