Abstract

Microstructural characteristics and mineral assemblage indicate prograde and
retrograde stage in the metamorphic evolution of eclogite -amphibolites of the Buchim block. Based on Fe/Mg distribution between clinopyroxene and garnet and the content of Jd component in clinopyroxene, maximum T of
570 to 650°C and P of 12 - 12.5 Kbar were determined for prograde eclogitic stage. The increase of the content of anorthitic component in plagioclase of reaction symplectites as weII as progressive zoning in garnets surrounded by
hornblende - plagioclase symplectite indicates an increase of T in the initial stage of uplift, and later T get "normal" retrograde trend and decrease due to uplift movement. P - T condition determined that maximum depth at which metamor-phose took place ranges from 47 km (P == 12 - 12.5 Kbar)
that coincides to temperature gradient to 14°C/km.
