Abstract
This paper presents the results of several months' investigations carried out on the heavy metals and toxic metals in waste waters from the town of Skopje that flow into the River Vardar. The results discovered increased amounts of arsenic, manganese and silver in the waste waters that come from the activities in industrial facilities located in and around the town
