Abstract

Modern implantology is the highest achievement of modern dentistry. Provides replacement of lost teeth with implants, which achieves an aesthetic effect, improves lost function, and provides a sense of power and security in the patient's daily life. Implantology is an old science, which over the years from the very beginning until today occupies a growing place in dentistry and is used very often.In this scientificpaper we described the contemporary setting sets of dental implants, which are used in modern implantology as a part of dentistry. Today there are several modern sets used in implantology for placing dental implants. Because dental implants are an ideal option for people who have lost their teeth for a certain reason, they suffered last 25 years great progress both in terms of form and quality representing the perfect tool for replacement of lost natural teeth.Implantology as a new and modern branch of dental medicine, applied by a growing number of dentists, aided by the large number of biomaterials that are more accessible today than ever, with their help solve almost every type of integration in patients who require it. Modern implants are made almost exclusively of titanium -supplemented with alloys to improve the properties, this percentage of titanium and its alloys is different in all systems that produce dental implants.Keywords: Abutment, dental, implants, instruments, sets, surgery
