Abstract

COVID 19 changed our lives but also change the educational process. All educational institutions, including faculties, switched to a hybrid model of teaching that also includes online teaching. This turn was not a particular challenge for universities but was, and still is, a big issue when it refers to Teaching faculties. This mainly refers to practical exercises in methodics of particular subjects where the realization of the study program requires communication with children and practical teaching in kindergartens and schools. These required many adaptations, implementation of new approaches, development of many new and different strategies. In this regard, the presented paper analyses the approaches applied in teaching methodics of art, mathematics, natural sciences and physical education at the Faculty of educational sciences at Goce Delcev University in Stip, North Macedonia. It represents the experiences with students, examples from online practice, applied strategies, and challenges that lecturers faced during online teaching. Based on the authors' experiences and feedback from students, recommendations and suggestions for improvement are presented.
