Abstract
The growth and the development of the Internet and the electronic business in parallel have great influence at the globalization of the world economy what, from one side opens large potential markets, but form the other side increases the competitive pressure over the companies. These are the main reasons why the Macedonian companies and entrepreneurs have to include the electronic business in their business strategies so they could take the advantage of the new opportunities or to defend themselves from the emerging competitors. Having that in mind, in this paper we propose strategic matrix for e-business approach depending of the target market (domestic of foreign) and the origin of the offered product (domestic of foreign) what gives us four different approach options (quadrants). In correspondence with the approach the company has to select appropriate e-business model and to develop (or poses) certain key competences in order to succeed on long term bases.
