Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the design of polymer composite plates for application in automobile industries reinforced by thermoplastic unidirectional prepreg material based on carbon fibers. The production of laminated composites have been made by compression moulding technique. Two major factors have been taken into consideration when designing the composites: processing temperature and moulding pressure. For the purpose of this investigation, four test specimen configurations have been made. Mechanical properties i.e. flexural strength of
the produced samples were determined and based on that some conclusions were made.
