Abstract
The porch of the house from Strumica is significant spatial and functional element with dominant and polyvalent significance, where it influences are segments of the traditional way of living and building
of houses. The basics functional elements of the porch are connected.The analyzes refer to its spatial structure, the adjust ed dimension of the size of
the house, constructive integration, a vital content conception, a certain level of decoration, emphasized multifunctionality, relationship and connection to
the surroundings pace and other polyvalent characteristics. The appearance of
the balcony affects all segments of the traditional way of building and using the
house, thus creating in digenous characteristics of the residential architecture
of the same period.
