Abstract
In this paper our research will be focused on the importance of regional cooperation in South East Europe for their further easier integration in
NATO and the EU. The initiatives of NATO and EU for regional cooperation in SEE countries, represent the basic platform for the establishment of the Regional
Cooperation Council (RCC) of SEE countries. In the second part of the paper, we will highlight the activities and achievements of the RCC on SEE countries in the field of their Euro-Atlantic integration. At the end of our scientific research, we will focus, to the future activities of the RCC and its future plans in the area of improving regional cooperation in SEE countries in terms of: economic, energy, security, parliamentary cooperation and in the area of justice, which are key priorities of the RCC and the crucial regional precondition for faster Euro-Atlantic integration of SEE countries. But the most important is that they represent a key precondition for the next wave of NATO and EU enlargement process by 2020 year.
