Abstract
The situation analysis of entrepreneurship in general and social entrepreneurship in particular in North Macedonia, has showed several issues that needed addressing: young people have positive attitude towards entrepreneurship, but don’t have high entrepreneurial intentions; gender plays a significant role in the decision to start a business, with females being less willing to take that step; the rate of unemployed young people is higher than 50%; the population is not very well informed about social entrepreneurship; the number of social enterprises is very low; there is still no law about social entrepreneurship and there is lack of support from governmental institutions; etc. As a result, we wanted to make a change in some of these situations, especially in the awareness and attitude of young people towards social entrepreneurship, with the aim to bring them a step closer to creation of a social enterprise, with the knowledge form our training workshop.
