Abstract
The presentation Migration and Asylum Policies Systems, the case of Republic of Macedonia, was presented at an International conference on Migration and Asylum Policies Systems: challanges and perspectives that was held at the University of Naples "l'Orientale" on the 23 September 2019. The presentaion speaks about the Migration and Asylum Policy System of Macedonia but through the prism of the migration crisis, since it is inherent to it. It explains the three periods of the crisis, the legislative interventions that were made in the Law on asylum and temporary protection, the asylum seekers in Macedonia through numbers, the consequences of the migration crisis (political, economical, institutional, legislative, security, humanitarian), and of course the challanges, perspectives and expectations of the State's asylum and migration system in the upcoming period.
