Abstract
At the beginning of the 21 century, the Macedonian pension systems started with their reforms according the recommendations from the World Bank, IMF and the EU-reports for the SEE countries. The Macedonian government was challenged to deliver a set of new Acts and norms and to settle a completely new pension system based on three pillars (public, private compulsory and private voluntary).
To maintain and fulfill the international pension standards the Macedonian government and the Public pension Fund were forced to conduct very sensitive issue, supervised by the World Bank, the European Community and several international organizations.
The main aim of this paper will be to give an answer how will be conduct the new pension system in practice.
