Abstract
Protective vests usually defined as “protective cover clothes “are used to protect the body from physical attacks in dangerous surroundings.
In this paper, the selection of fibers and new generation of materials that can be used in design of contemporary modulear model of protective vest for the required level of protection is made. The selected materials are analyzed and their main characteristics are presented. A comparison between materials properties is also shown. The design of the advanced model is also very important, so efforts in the meaning of design and construction have been also made, and new model of protective vest was obtained. The new model is unique, light and meet the requirements for future military purposes.
