Abstract

The preserved fragments of woodcarved ceilings, musandras, dolaps, door cornices and other movable household objects point to a high artistic and aesthetic values, thus showing the high standards of culture of living. Decoration of the interior has been applied only in the houses whose owners could afford to pay for their manufacture, usually on order.
