Abstract

Supply chains are usually described as span of activates that follow the product or service from conception, through the different phases of production, to final delivery to the consumers.

If such processes are intertwined between companies happen in more the one economy, then are termed Global Supply Chains (GSC).

Thus, nowadays, production processes involve couple of national economies, where each economy has specialization in a stage of the production process or production sequence.
