Abstract

Modern school in the 21 st century passes through numerous transformation processes, conditioned by numerous factors, in all segments, including the organization of teaching.
The modernized system of education (modern teaching technology, the application of numerous interactive forms of educational work, the need for higher level of individualization in the teaching process, encouraging the potential abilities of certain pupils, incisiveness, the transfer of the pupil from the position of an object to subject in educational process..), new curricula for certain subjects of one, and for the other side, numerous migration processes, that lead to a reduction in the number of pupils in schools, initiated the issue of specificity, characteristics, barriers, difficulties in the implementation of teaching in combined classes, teaching that requires a specific pedagogical-psychological and didactic-methodical effort from the teacher.
In this paper, we talks about the specificities, characteristics of contemporary teaching of natural sciences and society, taking into account the curricula Cambridge and specificities of work in combined class consisting of two, three or five classes: barriers faced by teachers for her successful implementation, aimed to creating a comfortable, favorable, ”communities in which is learn”, but in new different way.
