Abstract
In highly developed societies there is a change in the epidemiology of viral hepatitis A. The total morbidity of the disease declines, but decreases and herd immunity leading to increased morbidity in adult population. The purpose of this paper is to analyzing and presenting epidemiological situation of viral hepatitis A in the municipalities Shtip and Strumica in the period from 2010 until 2015. It made a descriptive study based on the epidemiological reports and official data on viral hepatitis A. An analysis made of the 598 persons with diagnosed disease who were hospitalized and treated in Clinical Hospital - Stip and General Hospital - Strumica in the period from 2010 until 2015.
