Abstract
A strong scientific knowledge is one of the most important pillar in each of traditional society across the globe and has allowed to the institutions and the countries accomplish the recognition in many research sectors . Implications of globalisation of markets and industries, digitalisation and new technologies, as well as a need to address societal issues such as an ageing population or climate change have direct impact on research strategies and politics in European countries.
The process of dissemination of scientific research is possible through the partnership programs between research institutions and corporations from industrial sectors and civil society and communities. This is supported by a Commission Staff Working Document on “voluntary guidelines for universities and other research institutions to improve their links with industry across Europe” which are based on good practices identified by a number of national public authorities and the work of various European stakeholder associations.
The mobility for scientific research within the framework of post-graduation educational programs should be encourage toward the inter-universities network of collaboration.
The case studies including SPINNER Consortium program supported by the Government of the province Emilia-Romagna (Italy) and the program of the Coimbra Group Program, an association of long-established European multidisciplinary universities of high international standard is presented as opportunities for getting access to apply for research grant for academic research.
The distribution of the right between the researchers, encompassing even the PhD students and Post-docs is regulates by the contract for mutual research which include the ownership of the background knowledge brought to the project, and ownership and access rights in relation to inventions, results and know-how arising from the partnership (and any associated Iintellectual Property Rights).
