Abstract

The subject of research in this paper is associated with evaluation of the meaning and future perspectives in the design and implementation of the quality system upon the bases of the its role in both Macedonian and Montenegrin companies, hence creating a model for better performance, innovation boost and greater efficiency as well as effectiveness of the companies. The design and implementation of a quality system in companies means drastic change in the behavior of employees, radical changes in the organizational structure, defining rights, obligations and responsibilities of individuals, thus creating a significant driving force for sustainable development and innovation.
This research will make an attempt to perceive the current situation in the Macedonian and Montenegrin companies in the field of design, implementation and certification of quality systems. Success in the market can only be achieved if business processes are designed and implemented with optimal utilization of resources, in order their functionality to be the best from the very beginning, without defects and losses of time and in accordance with consumers’ demands.
The data obtained from the research is based upon the experiences of a significant number of certified organizational systems in Montenegro and Macedonia. The data analysis as well as the principles and strategies that will result from this research should help provide useful guidance in model development used for improving organizational performance, design of the measures used to achieve sustainable business systems, encouragement of innovation, strengthening the links between companies, scientific research and innovation.
