Abstract
In order to successfully deal and reduce the consequences that may result from fires in underground mines, it is necessary previously prepared plan for evacuation and rescue which will be presented to all employees of the underground mine. The most effective method for training the employees in this sector has proven to be the method of computer simulation and visualization of given problems to get better understanding of them by all employees.The primary goal of this paper is to present a methodology that through visualization and simulation will serve to effectively display and presents the plans for evacuation and rescue in case of fire in underground mines. Using this methodology for effective presentation of possible problems that may arise in the process of evacuation and rescue, will enable mining workers for easier ascertaining the problems and their possible avoidance.
