Abstract
Computerization of all segments of social living rapidly increases the risk of abuse and fraud, because information technologies allow the emergence of new and unforeseen activities that are not possible in traditional commerce, but they provide fertile ground for operation within the electronic commerce. Serious misuse of internet technology can cause serious economic consequences, both for merchants and their companies, as well as for the consumers. In the function of preventing such activities, it is more than necessary to take measures to protect data and transactions.
