Abstract
The aim of this paper is to make a literary and historical cross section of the beginnings and the development of Turkish and Macedonian children’s literature in Macedonia. Our goal at this point is not to give an in-depth interpretation and approach to the works, but to present the cultural and civilizational benefit from the mutual living of different child population in one area and its contribution to the mutual integration, or disintegration. Our main statement is that literature is what can best assist in mutual understanding and integration of the children as well as contribution to tolerance and better overcoming and acceptance of differences between them.
