Abstract
Introduce: Technological developments in dentistry as in the field of dental materials and in the field of therapeutic modern methodologies daily is growing up. Last two decades laser beams are more intensive used in everyday dental treatment procedures.
Aim: The purpose of this study was to present the most commonly used laser procedures in everyday dental practice.
Material and Method: Laser removal of caries, tooth whitening, endodontic canal disinfection, oral-surgical interventions biostimulation parodontal interventions and many other indications, are just part of everyday dental treatment procedures in which is used a laser beam.
Results: Past experiences and comparisons showed that this physical method is more successful, easely, simple and the most important thing is that from the perspective of patients is painless.
Conclusion: Laser as a relatively newer modality in dentistry that provides opportunities for application of a wide range of dental procedures that constitute an integral part of everyday practice.
