Abstract
Guidelines for overcoming of the negative image with labor rights of Macedonian journalists should move towards possible greater self-organization and self-regulation of the journalistic profession, primarily guided by social public interest (lat. utilitas publica); and to improve the legal mechanisms to protect employees in the media sector, which is the backbone of any civilized, democratic and legal state.
