Abstract
The contemporary technologies, especially the information, telecommunication and the digital ones have significantly boosted the process of globalization. The process of globalization has great impact on the educational processes. One of the crucial factors for a proper development of any individual is the educational system. The higher the level of education is of any individual, the easier is the process of adaptation in the contemporary flows of the social living and the easier is for one to find work on the labour market. If the individual has more education, they find themselves higher on the social scale. Furthermore, that ensures better social standard. In the countries in transition such changes occur much slower. In the last ten years this issue has been realized and these countries have changed the approach by making serious changes in the context of the market economy and democratization of the society.
