Abstract
Abstract: A great number of changes have been occurring in the educational system in our country in recent years in all its spheres. These changes are due to its harmonization with the EU criteria, and it is an important moment in the rise of healthy, independent generations, who will be able to face all the challenges that lie ahead in the global society of the future. With the signing of the Ohrid Framework Agreement the process of decentralization in Macedonia begins and the delegation of authorities will lead to a change in the control of the educational process. The educational system in Macedonia depends on the legislation itself and its structure, but also on those taking part in the educational process. In this paper we explain the notion of control and answer the question who performs control over the educational system in Macedonia, and how decentralization affects the distribution of control and responsibility in the educational process.
Keywords: control, educational process, decentralization, responsibilities, financial and human resources.
