Abstract
In urban communities often there is a need to change existing underground installations or placing new ones.
This paper will discuss two technologies for placing underground installations including: classic and contemporary technology (technology with mechanical excavation). For each of these two technologies will be given advantages and disadvantages, as well as experiences from their application.
